This is a short presentation of my most recent Camino in Spain & France which I undertook in the Spring of 2022.

In roughly 3 months, I walked almost 800 miles in parts of Andalusia & Extremadura in southern Spain (Camino Mozarabe), Asturias in the Catabrian mountains of the north (Camino San Salvador), and the Ariège & Haute-Pyrénées departments in southern France (Chemin du Piémont).

The Camino de Santiago encompasses multiple routes throughout Spain and the rest of Europe. Many of these tributaries have existed for well over 1000 years and they continue to draw people from all over the world.

The Camino is many things to many people. Regardless of what brings you to Spain, you will no doubt be profoundly moved by the rich history, spirituality, and camaraderie that are a part of “The Way of Saint James”.

Buen Camino.
